Greg Olsen/Founder & Owner
Coach Olsen is entering his 14th season as the Head Baseball Coach at Calvary Christian High School. Olsen attended Countryside High School and played baseball from 1995-1998 earning an All-State Selection in 1998. Coach Olsen was elected to the Countryside High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999. After high school Coach Olsen attended Valdosta State University on a baseball scholarship and graduated with Bachelor of Science in 2002. Olsen played baseball at VSU from 1999-2002. After college, Coach Olsen began his coaching career back at Countryside High School in 2003 under former major leaguer Darnell Coles. In the summer of 2003 Olsen joined Terry Rupp’s staff at the University of Maryland and helped coach the Terrapins in 2003 & 2004. Coach Olsen then accepted a position at the University of Memphis in 2004 where he got to serve under long time Head Coach Daron Schoenrock. Olsen coached at Memphis in 2004-2005. Olsen served as Head Baseball Coach at Seminole High from 2006-2011. The Warhawks captured district championships in 2007 & 2008 and Olsen’s Seminole teams made the regional tournament in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and advanced to the regional final in 2010. In May 2011 CCHS announced the hiring of Coach Olsen to take over the baseball program. 2017 was a story book season for Calvary Baseball and it brought Pinellas County its first official undefeated baseball state champion. The Warriors finished 30-0 and captured the Class 4A State Championship. In their final high school baseball polls, Perfect Game and Baseball America ranked Calvary #3 nationally. Max Preps had the Warriors at #5 and USA Today listed CCHS Baseball as the 9th best team in the country. 2018 was an amazing season for Warrior Baseball. A 30-1 record, a second consecutive district championship, region championship and appearance in the FHSAA 4A State Championship Game. Calvary won 30 games in a row and set a state record with 60 straight wins between 2017-2018. Throughout 2018 USA Today, Max Preps, Baseball America and Perfect Game ranked Calvary Christian High School as the #1 team in the country for the majority of the spring season. 2019 picked up where 2018 left off for Calvary Baseball and it brought Pinellas County its first another baseball state champion. The Warriors finished 26-4 and captured the Class 4A State Championship. In their final high school baseball polls, Perfect Game and Baseball America ranked Calvary #9 nationally. Max Preps had the Warriors at #12 and USA Today listed CCHS Baseball as the 7th best team in the country.

Erik Brown- 13U Platinum
Coach Brown played at Seminole High School from 1995-1997. He received an academic and athletic scholarship from the University of North Florida and played collegiately from 1998-2001. In 2016, Coach Brown was inducted into the UNF Hall of Fame as part of the 2000 & 2001 teams for their back-to-back Division II World Series appearances. Coach Brown has learned the game from some of the top players and coaches from all levels. Coach Brown began coaching youth baseball in Colorado, where his love for teaching the game to others began to evolve. Coach Brown joined the Florida Burn Tampa coaching staff in 2020.

Coach Kendrick pitched professionally for 14 years with 10 years in the MLB. The majority of his career was in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Coach Kendrick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organization and will be our lead pitching instructor at the Burn warehouse.
